ActiveLED® Solar-Ready Security Light Fixtures have a highly-efficient Solar Controller integrated into the LED Driver. The SSCY Series is a market first from ActiveLED - a market leader in LED lighting systems
SSCY Series ActiveLED fixtures make off-grid solar lighting an easy reality.
With an integrated Solar Controller, the SSCY Series ActiveLED light fixtures have one less system component compared to other solar light solutions, making the installation and maintenance process far simpler and less expensive. The innovative SSCY Series design effectively eliminates the need for a costly separate Solar Controller.
The Solar-Ready Security Lights are cost effective to install and have a light output similar to 150 through 450 watt light bulb or 400 watt HID fixture.
Both the Solar Array and the Battery Pack connect directly to the SSCY Solar-Ready fixture via low-voltage DC cables. One Solar Array (up to 220 watts and 46 Volts DC) and one Battery Pack (12 Volt DC or 48 Volt DC, 48 VDC recommended) are supported.
With its patented design and superior LED elements, the SSCY Series of fixtures are a reliable light source with a 90,000-hour lumen life, making it a maintenance-free solution for applications where changing bulbs and ballasts can be hazardous and expensive.
ActiveLED® SSCY Series Solar-Ready Product Overview
Any version ActiveLED Security light fixture can be factory-configured as a Solar-Ready Light Fixture, up to 48 watts. The SSCY series secuity light is available in 12", 24" and 36" lengths, dependent upon the application and the desired fixture wattage. ActiveLED® Battery Pack Management
The ActiveLED SSCY series fixtures employ a highly efficient Integrated Solar Controller / Driver that has three levels of battery charging (the following data is for room temperature):

Bulk Charging of the battery pack until the battery voltage reaches about 14.7 volts for a 12-volt system or about 58.8 volts for a 48-volt system. |

Absorption charging for 2 hours. |
