A cost-effective, simplified and scalable solar system design for monument, facade, accent and sign lighting
FLBB-S Series ActiveLED fixtures make off-grid solar lighting an easily achievable reality.
With an integrated Solar Controller, the FLBB-S Series ActiveLED light fixtures have one less system component compared to other solar light solutions, making the installation and maintenance process far simpler and less expensive. The innovative billboard light design effectively eliminates the need for a costly separate Solar Controller.
The Solar-Ready BillBoard Lights are cost effective to install and have a light output similar to 75 through 600 watt HPS / HID fixtures.
Both the optional Solar Array and the optional Battery Pack connect directly to the FLBB-S Solar-Ready fixture via low-voltage DC cables. One Solar Array (up to 220 watts and 46 Volts DC) and one Battery Pack (12, 24 or 48 Volt DC, 48 VDC recommended) are supported.
With its patented design and superior LED elements, the FLBB-S Series of fixtures are a reliable light source with a 90,000-hour lumen life, making it a maintenance-free solution for applications where changing bulbs and ballasts can be hazardous and expensive.
FLBB-S Series Solar-Ready Product Overview

Battery Pack Management by ActiveLED
The ActiveLED FLBB-S series fixtures employ a highly efficient Integrated Solar Controller / Driver that has three levels of battery charging (the following data is for room temperature):
| 1 | Bulk Charging of the battery pack until the battery voltage reaches about 14.7 volts for a 12-volt system or about 58.8 volts for a 48-volt system. |
| 2 | Absorption charging for 2 hours. |
| 3 | Float or Trickle charging at 13.5 volts for a 12 volt system and 54 volts for a 48-volt system. |

ActiveLED® Diffuser Technology

To meet varying application requirements, the ActiveLED Solar-Ready BillBoard Lights can be configured with either a clear or a "diffused" second diffuser.
This second diffuser completely seals the underside of the fixture, preventing the ingress of water, dust and insects.
